This is one of the corner for this blog, i’m reviewing a dorama that i watched to give the reader a good recommendation.
So, what is Dorama? Dorama is romanization from ドラマ, the katakana form of Drama. So why not just simply say “Drama” or “Japanese Drama”. Well, it doesn’t matter but for the sake of simplicity, i’ll just use it.
So, the first dorama i’ll review is “Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san”.

Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san translated into “Koizumi Loves Ramen”. It is 4 episodes dorama and 1 Special episodes. The story is about a girl that really loves Ramen to extreme, she is also an expert in ramen way of life. Then she is approached by another friend who is ramen noobs. Then their story begin.
Three main characters are played by Hayami Akari (Koizumi), Miyama Karen (Yuu) and Furuhata Seika (Misa). It was originally broadcasted from 27th June until 18th July 2015. This dorama is featuring real ramen shops around Tokyo, and the ramen served will really makes you hungry (Too bad almost all of the ramen in Japan used pork as the ingerdient). It also give some historical background and trivia about the ramen shop, even the ingerdients or the serving methods, really a good knowledge. The story didn’t really have an impact for me, but the mouth-watering ramen and the information included is quite natural and i like that part of this dorama. Furthermore, the way character enjoyed the ramen increased the taste even further.
I recommended this dorama for those who want to enjoy food dorama. Nice actress, nice ramen but lack in the story aspect. And also a catchy theme song, it’s hard to forget the song, and anyway i love it. I also created english fansub for this dorama, so if you want to enjoy it, you can search around the net.
