Today i will review a game titled “Pro Gamer Manager”. As all of us know, there is a high rise of popularity in e-sport genre. Specifically in MOBA (led by Dota 2) and FPS (led by Counter Strike). The winner of the latest international tournament received a huge amount of money and fame, that can be compared with the physical sport. What differentiate this e-sport genre with other game is that actually everyone ‘theoritically’ have the same chance to win, it’s up to strategy and team work to make a difference.
Well. that’s the basic premise of this game. We as a player will take a role of someone that want to be a pro gamer or become the manager of the pro gamer team.

The gameplay is actually so simple, but it’s good. remind me of similiar game like Game Dev Tycoon. We started the game by creating the character for our player then choosing which genre you want to play, FPS or MOBA. Then voila! You started as a pro gamer wannabe without nothing. You need to start playing games, increasing your skills, eventually join pro team, getting paid , join the tournament and so on. Then climbing the world rank and finally become the best gamer in the world.

It’s just a simple click game, but it relied a lot on chance and randomization. You didn’t actually played the game inside the game, the game will showed the result of the game either lose or win and the statistic. You eventually need to increase your skill, your gaming gear and such.

Pro Gamer Manager can be bought for Rp109,999 on Steam, check on this link. I recommended this game for those who like simulation game and enjoy watching or playing those genre (e-sport). But i personally thinks that 100,000 rupiah is too much for this game.
